In case you haven’t noticed, the greatest blog network in the world, Random Shapes, has launched it’s new design for the fall CSS Reboot. While it doesn’t stick out as much as version two, I must say this look is starting to grow on me.

When I first saw it I didn’t really think the color scheme made the design stick out, and i reeked of corporate madness. I’m used to seeingthe green and red in a moreoutrageous way and this design just didn’t satisfy my need for adventure. But now that I’ve seen the working version I’m actually starting to like it. A few new features have been added, and while we haven’t incorporated AJAX yet I think the design is pretty darn snazzy. So go and check it out.

I’ll talk to Matt, I’m sure he’d have no problem with it.

I would start aiskng around on various forums what other ladies can recommend. They’ll know whats comfortable and whats not. Hi viz is a great idea but you probably wont get the more breathable / compact jackets in that colour.Go for a jacket that packs up small and fits in your jersey pocket. When its raining you put it on. As soon as it stops raining you take it off screw it up and put it in your pocket. No faffingLights; If you want to actually be able to see where you’re going and have a run time of several hours then get ready to get that credit card out. The Hope vision1 and the various Fenix torches (with the bike mount) are about the cheapest lights available that are bright enough to ride in an unlit area with.
