That’s it, I’ve solved the second MacHeist puzzle and I’m extremely happy. I won’t let you know what software’s being offered or give you any direct answers, but I’ll give you a few key clues. First off, you’ll need to know morse code for this heist, or at least read up on it a little bit, otherwise you’re stuck in the mud.
To kick everything off start by compiling all of the duplicate letters in the note into a URL, and from there everything’s pretty simple. Enjoy!

I blggoed about this myself.As you say, the biggest disappointment is that none of these people apparently took 10 seconds to think about any possible consequences their little joke might have. It’s not a trivial matter for the people whose reputations they have damaged, at all.As they’ll all find out, I’m sure, because their own reputations will suffer.
