Over the past, I’d say, year and a half, I’ve been working with some good friends as a graphic designer for their booking and promotions agency in Miami. While I don’t have to make the 5 hour commute down there I am responsible for the bulk of the design work. During this time period I’ve worked on multiple MySpace layouts (unfortunately), a nice handful of promotional banners for the bands we represent, and even a few flyers.

The pay may not be great, but I love being able to express my creativity in such an open environent. If I ever do make my way down to Miami I get access to all of the MA sponsored shows, which is amazing, and the artists are always really happy with the finished products. This is one of the reason’s I was ecstatic when I took on the task of building another, improved Martyr Agency MySpace layout. It took me the better part of two days to create, and while many think that may be rushing things, myself and the other team members are very happy with the results. So please head on over to the page and check out the layout, styled in part thanks to Mike Davidson’s MySpace layout, with some heavy modifications.

On one final note, I’m extremely happy with where I am as a designer, and I can’t wait until I can confidently say that the Martyr Agency website is complete.
