I’ve been working with print a lot more lately, and I’ve definitely learned a few things. Just some random notes I wanted to record. Traditional CD inserts measure out at around 4.75 inches by 4.75 inches, a perfect square. Everything should be printed at 300DPI. I learned this the hard way. Also, a quarter inch bleed line is required to make sure the designs don’t run over the edge. Again, another lesson learned the hard way.
I’ve also come to realize how expensive printing is, especially on AA shirts. But the higher quality, the better the response. New work debuting soon, keep your eyes open.
