As I’m sitting here getting ready to head off to work, an idea came to me. It’s risky, probably illegal, and definitely very comedic, but risky nonetheless. I’m currently not enrolled in a public school, or any school for that matter, and so as of right now my senior year in high school is in serious trouble. What I’m wondering is how long a person could attend normal classes at a public high school before anyone noticed they weren’t in that class.

My brain is telling me a few weeks, just going on the teacher’s ability to remember names and faces. And maybe even longer depending on how long the person can put up the image of a new transfer student who’s records have yet to come through. It’s an interesting idea, but not one worth risking my high school life over.

But should anyone try this, please share the results.

I dunno, counseling errors can be pretty crazy. I was in the wrong class most of 3rd and 4th period last year simply because I didn’t know which schedule was correct. Of course, some teachers just don’t care, and if that person isn’t disruptive, I’m not sure it really really matters :P

Yeah, well my 4th period (out of 7) class is basketball, basically another PE course. Only a few kids actually play basketball though, so I’ve figured it’d be pretty easy for an unregistered student to sneak into the class and sit with the other students in the bleachers.
