Probation.

It’s been an interesting week, and an interesting month for that matter. Monday marked the first official day of probation, 6 months of strict control set upon me by the state of Florida in an attempt to control my “wild behavior”. Yesterday I made my way across town during school hours, arriving at the IDDS processing center around noontime. Traffic was light, and it was an enjoyable ride.
I figured if everything went horribly I always had a nice paycheck waiting for me at work on my way home. As soon as I opened the door an enthusiastic women peered from behind the counter, greeting my father and I as we took our seats. A minute or two passed until my officer, who’s name I can’t remember for the life of me stepped out of his office.
We spent an hour or so going over the details of my probation, answering various drug, alcohol, and sex related questions. I answered everything truthfully, and I suppose because of this my curfew was extended from 7 to 8PM. I’ve been given a light punishment, basically 35 hours of community service, and an apology letter to the “victims” of my crimes (my stepsister and stepfather). I suppose it could have been worse.
On the bright side, I’ll have more time to work on various design projects. I’ve been venturing into apparell design lately, so look out for a few new things.
